What to Know when Beginning a Healing Protocol

Your first month of eating healthy, exercising, and following a health protocol shouldn’t be about healing all of your health issues.

Your first month should be about building the foundation of your new lifestyle.

True healing really does take time. And, it also takes a lot of active work and dedication. We can’t just expect our whole lives to change and all of our symptoms to drop away after a few weeks of eating healthy. Especially if we expect to go back to our old lifestyles. In order for our lives and our health to truly change, we must make sustainable and lasting changes. This does not mean we need perfection, but it does mean that we have to be in it for the long game. We don’t really get to choose the timeline of our healing: it could take months and it could take years (and usually it took many many years for the symptoms and health issues to develop). Instead, our goal should be to implement new and healthy lifestyle changes that will be the new foundation of your life and your health.
