I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego and a Master's of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (A 4 year program including studies of Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, + Western pathology/physiology) from Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego, Ca. I am a licensed Acupuncturist + Herbalist in the sunny state of California. Aside from the professional credentials, I am an avid researcher of all things related to health, nutrition, beauty, and wellness. I live in Los Angeles where I have been treating patients since 2013.
I believe in simplicity: real food, regular movement, genuine connection to the people around you, ample time spent outdoors in the sunshine, a spiritual connection to God, and a surrender to life. These to me, are the keys to health and beauty. Without them as a foundation, we will always fall short. And this doesn’t mean there isn’t a time for cleansing, detoxing, supplements, and medicines. We live in a modern world that is full of modern chemicals that are tough for the body to process and we all have different sensitivities.
I believe that we over-complicate (or rather the health and beauty industries over-complicate) the way we live our lives. I spent 15 years in an obsessive search for the “key” to healing. I looked for the answers in many gurus, extreme diets, and the like, only to come up short. It wasn’t until I let go of almost everything I was doing and simplified my life and surrendered, that I found actual healing—on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.
We find everything we need in nature. It took me a long time to come to this conclusion, and I spent thousands of dollars and hours looking for the golden secret to health and beauty. What I found was this: there is no “secret” knowledge that we need to discover. There are no miracle products you need to buy. Instead, we need to learn healthy habits, good routines, and how to eat and nourish our bodies properly. I'm here to guide you in just how to do that. Welcome!
